With regards operation, the left-hand lever on the Sorrento 2 operates the filtered or unsoftened water via a quarter turn valve and the right-hand lever is for both hot and cold water via a standard blending cartridge.

The Sorrento 3 has the standard hot water on the left-hand lever with cold water on the right-hand lever configuration with the middle lever delivering filtered or unsoftened water.
