With regards operation, the left-hand lever on the Verona 2 operates the filtered or unsoftened water, with the right-hand lever for both hot and cold via a standard blending cartridge.

 

The Verona 3 has a standard hot on the left and cold on the right configuration with the middle lever delivering filtered or unsoftened water.
